Kathleen Haley Ramsey is a mother who turned her personal tragedy into an organization designed to provide today’s youth exposure and opportunity to careers in public safety.

Funded by the Brownsburg Education Fund, with support from Boulton Law Group, Real Men Read is an early literacy program in which community members volunteer their time once a month to read to all kindergartners in the Brownsburg Community School Corporation.

Each month, the students get a copy of the book that is read to take home to their families and continue reading together.

As a long-time supporter, Matt’s strong belief in the positive value this program offers young people is equally matched by his enjoyment as a reader!

Founded by safety partner and friend Tom Everson, the purpose of Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 is as admirable as it is straightforward:

The mission of KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® is to make streets safer for all who walk, cycle, play, drive, and ride, while supporting families whose loved ones died due to a traffic incident. Our goal is to put an end to deaths and injuries caused by all manner of unsafe driving behaviors.

Matt has joined Tom on the KKAD25 podcast and continues to be a proud supporter of the organization and all of Tom’s efforts.

Founded by police officer Rob Prichard, Redemption Ranch of Indiana provides shelter dogs a second chance at life by rescuing and transforming them into highly trained police canines. These dogs, once abandoned and overlooked, are given the love, care, and positive reinforcement needed to thrive and serve our communities.

As a proud rescue dog-dad and supporter of local animal groups, Matt supports Rob’s mission to move these canines From Shelter to Shield.

Brownsburg Older Adult Alliance is a 501(c)3 organization founded in November 2015 by five women who joined together to enhance the lives of older adults in Brownsburg and its surrounding areas.

​BOAA helps seniors connect within our community, as well as directs them to local resources in a time of need. Matt has been a long-time supporter of BOAA and its mission to help Brownsburg’s seniors live their best life.

Brownsburg Girls Softball Little League has promoted the physical and social development of young women for generations. The league focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, and superior instruction to develop a positive atmosphere for all.

Matt’s love for sport and BGSL’s excellence has led him to be an annual supporter of youth sports in our communities.
